O KOLEKCIJI

NOCTILUCA OBSCURA is an exploration of light and shadow through the structure of hair.

The initial reference was Bauhaus – more specifically Kandinsky’s geometry – but we deliberately dismantled it. From rigid form, we shifted into something more organic: concave, convex, fluid. The atmosphere of the collection is shaped by contemporary artists such as Olafur Eliasson (light perception), Ryoji Ikeda (digital minimalism), Chiharu Shiota (emotional structures), and architect Tadao Ando, who sculpts space through light.

Japanese aesthetics Ma, Wabi-Sabi, and Shibui bring forward the beauty of space, silence, and imperfection.

This is not perfect form – it is form in motion.

Breakdown as elegance.

The haircutting is based on a dual technique:

50% razor / 50% scissors.

The razor carves air around the head. The scissors bring structure, order, form.

Where there is razor work, there is neon.

Where there are scissors, there is muted tone.

Color follows structure – not the other way around.

The color direction is rooted in Itten’s color wheel, reimagined through neon pigments that react to UV light.

Color layering is inspired by classical glaze techniques in painting – color is not surface, but luminous substance.

Color is vibration.

Photography is not documentation – it is atmosphere:

UV light, artificial fog, vanishing contours.

What is hair? Where does the face begin? What remains when we remove the expected?

NOCTILUCA OBSCURA is not a collection.

It is a luminous organism.

It is a mental space.

It is a statement.

NOCTILUCA OBSCURA raziskuje svetlobo in senco skozi strukturo las.

Izhodišče je bil Bauhaus, natančneje geometrija Kandinskega, vendar smo jo načrtno razgradili. Od toge forme smo prešli k nečemu bolj organskemu: konkavnemu, konveksnemu, tekočemu. Vzdušje kolekcije oblikujejo sodobni umetniki Olafur Eliasson (zaznavanje svetlobe), Ryoji Ikeda (digitalni minimalizem), Chiharu Shiota (čustvene strukture) in arhitekt Tadao Ando, ki s svetlobo oblikuje prostor.

Japonske estetike Ma, Wabi-Sabi in Shibui poudarjajo lepoto prostora, tišine in nepopolnosti.

To ni popolna forma, temveč forma v gibanju. Razgradnja kot eleganca.

Striženje temelji na dvojni tehniki: 50 % britvica / 50 % škarje.

Britvica izrezuje zrak okoli glave. Škarje prinašajo strukturo, red in obliko. Kjer deluje britvica, je neon. Kjer delujejo škarje, so umirjeni toni. Barva sledi strukturi, ne obratno.

Barvna usmeritev izhaja iz Ittnovega barvnega kroga, na novo interpretiranega z neonskimi pigmenti, ki reagirajo na UV-svetlobo.

Plastenje barv navdihujejo klasične slikarske lazure: barva ni površina, temveč svetleča snov. Barva je vibracija.

Fotografija ni dokumentacija, temveč vzdušje: UV-svetloba, umetna megla, izginjajoči obrisi. Kaj so lasje? Kje se začne obraz? Kaj ostane, ko odstranimo pričakovano?

NOCTILUCA OBSCURA ni kolekcija. Je svetleči organizem. Je miselni prostor. Je izjava.
